How to do a chlamydia home test
1. Seek care in the app
Log in to the Kry app and select "Test yourself for chlamydia". Once you have answered the questions in the app, you will be placed in a queue to chat with a midwife. The midwife makes an assessment to determine if you need to be tested.
2. Test yourself
A discreet package will arrive within 2 business days. It will include a test kit, easy instructions, and a return package to post your test to the lab for free.
3. Get your result
You will receive your result in the app, 3-5 business days after posting your test, even if it’s negative. If it’s positive, there will be a link to book a free video appointment with a nurse for treatment.
4. Complete treatment
Your antibiotics prescription will be available from any pharmacy near you. We’ll support you with infection tracing and can treat sex partners who also get a positive test result through Kry.
Chlamydia and your health
Chlamydia is transmitted through unprotected sex. Most people who have chlamydia do not notice any symptoms. The good news is that it’s easy to treat chlamydia if it’s detected early with a test. If left untreated, it can lead to serious health conditions. Treatment can help.
